Depends on age I think. Under 40’s quite a lot of women have pierced nipples, over 40 I’ve found tends to be more the women on the lgbt, kink or swinging scenes (or all three as in my case except I’m not pierced) |

"I don't but I keep considering it, my nipples are so pathetically small though so I'm not sure it would look right "
My nipples are ridiculously small, but I have one of mine pierced (done when I was 18, before it became mainstream, and before I ventured into the world of swinging). Just get a smaller ring/bar once it's healed so it doesn't look like a door knocker |

"I've noticed many women on this site have pierced nipples"
I had my nipples pierced way before I was on Fab. It made my already sensitive nipples way more sensitive...

"Is it true they need to be ripped out if you need a defibrillator shock?
If any paramedics can confirm/deny? "
No, they don't. Urban myth. You can even have a pacemaker and be shocked without risk.
Likewise you can keep them in for an MRI if they're titanium but not steel.
