I thought I start this thread for gardening questions for those in the know.

So here is my question-As spring is now here and we are all heading out to do some gardening jobs, what is the best way to ge rid of chick. Never had any before but some travelled over from a neighbouring garden and seems to be spreading fast. Thanks

Yes you dilute the granules either use a watering can or spray if you have a lawn I'd buy a sack it's roughly 30 as it has a wead and feed but as I've said kills everything else

Whilst still on the topic of gardening something I learned their is actual plants that help within the garden to avoid the odd pests like fleas tick and so on

See buying a tub it's cheaper buying a sack which would last years

It Weeds up easily... just give it to someone with rabbits, cavies or chickens...they love it.

You don't need chemicals with a lightweight like that

My question is, what the bloomin heck is going on. My greenhouse is usually well on the way with seedlings by now. This year the only thing that's germinated so far is rocket and radishes. Is anyone else really far behind this year?

im way ahead this year all my chilli plants are over the 10 inch mark already nice and bushy not leggy ...and all my tomato are doing very well too all sown early to get the best start poss ... cucumber and corgettes will be planted this weekend coming ...

top top tip i can give anyone who grows veg flowers or shubs n trees is run a worm casting wormer buy a wormery or go on you tube and make you own all your waste/leftover foods / plant matter cardboard n paper and let the worms turn it into black gold that black gold is thee best thing for any plants plus your saving stuff from the landfill and doing a little bit towards helping the planet

simply if the seeds are not germinating its the compost is not warm enough or old / bad seeds

Be careful not to get iron phosphate on your drive or patio tho, it stains with rusty marks.

Cheap way to kill moss on a driveway, apply 'Daz', yes Daz wash powder, kills it in a week

Then when it’s a little warmer I’ll get the rest in the greenhouse.

Got some onions, potatoes and garlic in the ground today.

It's ok for some I have horse chestnut trees close by come time all those drop down covering every part of my garden as I have front side not so much landing rear it's a pain in the backside but I'm surprised because the bottle is hard plastic and chemical only effect anything else that would rust from it I suppose I'll have to improvise to fix it looking like new
