We’ve seen some couples locally who post, albeit great, pics asking people to Fab them and then post ‘wow, you got us to position X on fab pics’.
Yet they never seem to meet according to veris.
Yes we know each to their own, people get out of the site what they want, etc..
Why do we care ? We don’t that much but if everyone just used the site as a sexy instagram then it would be even more difficult to meet genuine people. Plus it’s seems like a lot of effort just to have your ego stroked.

I agree, the Insta culture is deffo overlapping and I guess people are using Fab as another means to get attention
I have never asked for Fabs, never feel the need.
I love knowing that each Fab I have is because someone has appreciated it....Never look at hit pics so wouldn't know who's trending either
And likewise, if I appreciate a picture I will fab it. |

People can do whatever they want of course. Some are here for ego stroking via pics. Some are here just to webcam rather than meet in person. Some are here just to talk bollocks in the forums.
Others have zero interest in ever actually doing any of the above OR actually meeting.
Those are the ones that probably cause the site the most issues I suspect. The profiles set up just to perve others, the catfish and the ones here to source content for elsewhere.
The vanity crowd are generally harmless and easy to ignore. Much more than some of the others.

To be honest part of the reason I signed back up was for an ego stroke. While I'm not fussed about how many people fab my photos ,I'd be lying if I said I didn't like some of the attention. Feeling starved of attention brought me back on here .
Most of the time I know its all false flattery they send everyone but sometimes nicer things happen too .
I've never really been the type to meet lots of people,mostly because I'd talk myself out of it before I got there.
I think the site caters for everyone . I find the people who have the best experiences here focus on their own wants and don't really give what others do much thought. This also allows you to ignore any negativity too |

I agree. The “fab me” is not much different to all the “rate my/me” threads. Easy to just scroll on by. I’ve never been concerned what others do unless it affects me. Same with all the cheating etc threads. Why are people so bothered what others do. I quite like seeing all the different personalities and the way people do things, whether it makes me laugh, cringe, eyeroll or smile. |

A few people have said just ignore them which is what we do anyway.
The bigger debate is what is the purpose of Fabswingers ? We know this raises howls from people saying ‘it’s whatever people want it to be’ but if you care about genuine people who want to meet for consensual non monogamy then surely there has to be a space for them.
Want to be an exhibitionist? There are sites for that. Want an affair ? There’s a site. Single person wanting hookup sex with other single people. There are sites. Want to share/see naughty pics and videos ? There are sites.
Want to be a swinger who meet other swingers for play? Well we only have swinging sites.
Our argument would be that every interest outside of actually meet people for swinging dilutes the population of people who meet. You get to a tipping point where the number of ‘genuine’ people who actually meet becomes so low that swingers leave the site or retreat to clubs. We definitely do speak to a few people who say the site isn’t what it was years ago and we agree.
Not trying to upset people or rain on their parade but if the actual ‘swinging’ gets lost in Fab then the site loses its way. Peace |

But surely you can easily recognise those that actually want to meet and separate them from those that don't?
What about swingers who are also exhibitionists? Why are single people not allowed to meet other single people instead of or as well as couples - swinging isn't just about couples - that's old fashioned wife swapping.
Maybe all the other activities don't 'dilute' the swinging population but actually increase it? What if the people that came to post photos or cam evolve their desires and start to meet?
There has never been a point where 'genuine' (god I hate that word!) swingers leave because of anyone else on site. That tends to be a threat/argument used by those that are finding it hard to meet people for whatever reason - often nothing at all to do with the site and as much to do with their methodologies and expectancies.
As for 'retreat to clubs' ? Clubs have been part of swinging since long before the dawn of internet contact sites. They'll be around long after many a online site has gone. Think how many clubs there are vs how many sites?
The site hasn't changed much at all in the 15 years I've been using it. Many of the people have though and maybe that's the problem. People want to be spoon fed, have their swinging lives made easy for them and if they can't find the company they seek they blame the site rather than look inwards.
The site is just a contact tool. Always has been. Nothing more.

I don't really care how others use it, i dont care that they ask for pics to be fabbed, i use this site how i want to, its not a sex site its a place for people to come and do whatever they please  |
