wonder if the amazon, takeaway, supermarket etc drivers share the tip with the people who done the rest of the work????
Like takeaway drivers just drive a mile and knock on the door, what about the person who prepped and cooked the food??
do supermarket drivers share with the person who spends all day walking round the store, collecting and bagging your shopping??
As for Amazon etc..... just kick the tip over the fence to him, or just leave it at someone else's house |

I tip takeaway delivery if I pay at the door and have tipped at restaurants
Every time I hear talk of tipping etiquette I remember the scene at the start of Reservoir Dogs which is interesting and truthful |

I tip take away delivery drivers, I always think they're probably doing it to supplement their income anyway so could do with a bit extra. My mum always tipped the Sainsbury's delivery person I never would
At the hair salon I tip the apprentice who washes my hair, sweeps up, makes me coffee and tries valiantly to be interested in the conversation of a woman old enough to be her grandmother .
In restarants I tip good service.I
We were in McDonald's in Cognac once where an elderly couple were trying to tip the staff . Bless their hearts. |

That's the exact reason I Tip takeaway drivers, I assume supermarket drivers are doing there full time job |

I only really leave a tip at a restaurant.
I do occasionally give the Sainsburys driver a 'thank you' such as bottle of wine or cans or beer if they've done something extra special, but it's not often. |

Nope. Never.
I hate the culture and its one of the worst things to come across the pond from America.
It's an excuse for employers over there to not pay decent wages and that has transferred over here.
Why should certain jobs be seen as deserving of tips and not others?

I'll only ever tip in a restaurant and that will depend on whether I'm happy with the service and if I actually have cash. I've no idea how to tip using a card because I've never done it and never will.
At Christmas I'll give my barber a tip.
I don't get home deliveries. |

In a restaurant only!
And only if that one member of waiting staff has offered good service and interacted well with us/the group.
I disagree with many American cultures feeding their way into our daily lives. |

Only ever tip in a restaurant if given really good service, I might stick my change in the pot at a take away but not every time.
One of my new residents tried tipping one of the carers when she arrived recently, that was quite sweet. |
