"according to met office
it looks like the whole country going to get hit by snow for the next 3 weeks as of monday 14th "
The WHOLE of the country? Strange, just checked the BBC website and no forecast of snow for the whole of next week.
Once they can accurately guess, sorry forecast what the weather will be in 24 hours time, then I'll pay attention to long range forecasts. Until then, I'll stick to my prefered method of looking out of the window. |

"well its winter lol"
definitely got colder in the last 48h and we had freezing fog with an airfrost last night, so it's definitely going towards cold.
makes a change from all that fecking rain anyway.

They have enough trouble predicting the weather 24hrs in advance, let alone 4 days and beyond. I'll worry about it when I see it.
Imagine the panic buying has begun already though. |

"love the snow "
LOL Scouse Minx,
It won't be snowing in Liverpool or Wirral for that matter, it hardly ever snows here and the big dollop we got a couple of years ago was almost a unique event in my life. but if you look across The Mersey you might see some white dust on those Welsh Hills.
If I'm wrong and it does actually snow properly in Liverpool & Wirral, well the rest of the country will be hit by about 4 foot of snow..... |

Wonders if it's the same met office that’s just issued the following on their own website……
Turning colder this weekend with snow showers likely to affect eastern coastal counties. Amounts of snow are uncertain and are likely to be highly variable with some places seeing very little. However, 5-10 cm could accumulate locally, particularly over hills, with icy surfaces an additional hazard. The public should be aware of the potential for localised disruption to travel
There are currently no warnings for Mon 14 Jan 2013....

They want people to panic buy food and fuel. It's a conspiracy! "

Well if the shit hits the fan - or obviously lots of snow arrives on the 15th as apparently predicted, I'll be stranded in Devon living off expenses!
Roll on the white stuff! |
