I broke my first one last year at the age of 44.
Long story but basically I got squashed against my house by my own car. It was being picked up by a recovery truck and broke away whilst being pulled up.
Tibia plateau fracture that left me immobilised for months |

Have only ever broken one bone in my body, but I did it in style, I didn't just break it, I shattered it into tiny pieces.
It was the finger tip bone of my left forefinger.
I caught my fingernail on the blade of my table saw about 15 years ago and, well, I'll spare you all the gory details |

I’ve never officially broken any bones
But
I’ve dislocated both my ankles and my shoulder elbow fingers and toes
I’ve got plates in both ankles and have cracked 1 of the fixings into my cuboid which is a bone that makes up the ankle assembly
Broken fingers and knuckles endless times and sure I’ve cracked a few ribs over the years |

Reply privately (closed, thread got too big) | |
Officially, just the one i think.
Quite probably also broke my nose when i got hit with a cricket bat as a kid...although my mate helpfully squeezed it all back together as he'd seen it in a film- which hurt like fuckery on a stick.
I might have also broken it previously with an incident with a car when i managed to escape the house all by myself- although a broken nose would have been a minor injury in that adventure and i was too young to remember the full extent on my injuries, but 3 weeks in hospital kind of gives some indication of my supreme muppetry that day.
May have also have broken/fractured at least one finger in my late teens/and twentys, although the few times i've mangled them its been a DIY gaffer tape home fix Dr Bodge job cretin special, cos i've been a long time idiot.
Seem to remember another adventure in my teens when i discovered gravity, handily located just the other side of my bike handlebars, just off to the right in a ditch in the woods. Again, i kind of avoid visiting the quack and put up with the pain breathing (preferable to dealing with the tutts, eye rolls and months of parents then getting over protective)- so that may have been a cracked rib or two?
So, to sum up, on paper i've been a delight since i was born...in reality i'm a walking, braindead cockwomble and if i was a child now, my parents would probably be questioned in relation to the string of injuries presented to A&E (and the ones above that weren't) which were all down to my own fuckwittery.
I'm just glad this was about broken bones and not about how many stiches you've had...i have shirts with less thread in em |

I've never broken any bones, thankfully.
Never had any dental fillings or teeth removed. |

Broken loads. I’m very accident prone.
I’ve broken one arm 3 times, my other arm once. Broken my collar bone. Also broke an ankle just by tripping over a loose carpet thread.
