I know women get a lot of attention and messages but is it me or do a lot of profile make them come across as complete bitches? Why do people feel need to have a rant on there profile? Why not just use that good old delete button and sound a bit friendlier just an observation. X |

Haha that's my opinion so far  I'm sure they're all lovely bit a lot just sound so aggressive in there profiles. Just either scares the shit outta ya or puts you right off. Unless your desperate of course  xx |

some are just genuinely weary of some of the silly people on here and hope it will deter them from bothering them..... for some of the silly people, that is like a moth to a flame.

Good point I just can't seem to grasp the harshness of some of them. I thought this was meant to be fun. A lot of profiles sound far from fun. I wouldn't be sure if they'd want a fight or a f.... Lol xxx |

When I first started on here I loved my profile.
Over time I got worn down by the messages and repeating myself in emails.
I applied filters, I applied a strict age range, and I put the big no no's for me on the top of my profile. That seemed to work
I did not like my profile.
I revamped it. But for those that do read it, it tells you everything.
I cant get that in 1 paragraph, and those that dont read it, email anyways.
Then I learnt to ignore my inbox and concentrate on the forums, so revamped the profile again. 
Now it is longer than I would like; however I tried to do it in sensible chunks.
I may come across as a bitch to some; however it is my profile, it is me.
I revamp it every now and again as I change, my preferences change, so I try and keep it up to date but Im never going to please everyone  |

It CAN get tiring trying to keep your cool when so many people seem to chance their luck or completely disregard your preferences (that's even if they bother reading your profile). So I can see where these people are coming from.
Truth be told though, when it gets too much, we've found that it works better just to block EVERYONE from contacting us and go looking for those that WE want to meet.

I think it's because men don't read their profile and they get fed up of reading pointless mail they don't want so they have a rant about it, it's how most woman deal with things |

If people want to look like man hating bitchbags then let them,im sure they can read what their own profiles look like and it obviously does'nt bother them in the slightest 
If you're going to let messages that can be deleted in a second and profiles that can be blocked in a second turn your profile into something awful and completely unapproachable then maybe take a break and some deep breaths |
