The cynic in me (and possibly others) may think it's because there's a perception of it being a source of quick and easy sex. It isn't. It's harder than the outside world and if you struggle to find naked company offline then online will be equally or even more difficult.
If, as you say, you don't struggle for attention from women in your day to day life, yet are apparently struggling to get noticed on here - I know where I'd be putting in the hours.
