"What is the equivalent UK size of Levi's 28?
How big is your bum ?
those buggers at Levi’s use at least 3 measurements not just your waist size"
Big enough
I can't be doing with all that measuring. What happened to the days of buying them and sitting in the bath in them. Then getting told off by your mum for dying the bath blue |

"28 inch waist?
I think I am that around each knee!
I wore that size in my twenties. We were looking at old photos recently and couldn't believe how impossibly slim we looked "
In fact when I managed the shop
I had a 28 in waist.God those jeans were tight. |

At one time in the 70s we used to buy our jeans so tight we had to lay down to zip them up |

Blimey I remember that well, even had the assistant in a shop once put a lace in the end of the zip and pull it that way as we were convinced they were not going to pull up. It worked, but it took me ten minutes to get up off the floor in them

It's a minefield. You can never tell with sizes these days. That's why I prefer buying clothes and shoes in shops. Buying online is risky business when it comes to getting the right size. Especially with all that stuff made in China. You are looking for size medium and you have to get XXXXXXXXXXXL to fit you. |

We used to hook a metal coat through the zip and pull it up that way. It's a wonder we could breathe |
