For once i'd like to big up our NHS
I found a lump in my breast over the new year, saw my Dr on wed eve and within 6 days..2 of which were the weekend..i had a hospital appointment and results the same day...i cant see i'd of been treated better or quicker even, if i'd gone private!
Pretty good service i think...
Was a 'nothing to worry about' lump thankfully

Glad to hear you're okay. The NHS does perform very well when it's a genuine emergency or priority case. Just wish they could sort it out when it comes to the mundane stuff...

Considering NHS treatment comes at very little cost to the individual tax payer and the constraints placed upon them, they do an awesome job. Huge big up to them. |

agreed..
too often people pick up on the minority of times things go sadly wrong..
by and large we have pretty good public services staffed by decent people doing what can be difficult jobs.. |

I also found a lump a few years back.
And was under the knife on the operating table within four days. Thankfully it was only a blood clot.
But I agree with all you've said, can't praise them enough |

Firstly glad to hear you are ok and received such prompt and thorough treatment
Also like to hear positive feedback
I'm the first to scream the gaff down over poor service which makes me equally forthright in my praise or feedback on good service |

It's a good thing I have faith in the NHS - I'm under the knife tomorrow!
I didn't have a lump, just early screening in November. They chased for two weeks to have a biopsy, got results a week later, a ct next day, bone scan day after and even allowing for the Christmas and new year surgery scheduled in less than two weeks from my results.
I'm currently apprehensive but have had lots of support and advice from the hospital and been getting a lot of love from my swinging friends too.
I'm a fortunate person. |
