The dot in the i |
Let the bag steep for a good 5 mins, remove them add a drop of milk and two sugars for me
For my mini monster it’s super weak with half a sugar and loads of milk
For my elderly father it’s two teabags, no milk or sugar and top up as the day goes till about 4-5pm
His cup is the worst to clean, although oddly satisfying when finished |

As weak as gnat's piss. Tea bag dunked in the boiling water for a few seconds and put aside for re-use.
Obviously no milk. that would make it absolutely vile.
If I'm out anywhere, I ask them not to put the tea bag in but to give it to me to do so. It would be far too strong if put in before the water and then subjected to a slow filling from an urn.
Psychologically, there is nothing worse than seeing milky tea in a Pyrex glass cup but not so with black tea in the same.
Always best to pre-warm the cup to stop it getting stained. |

If it's English tea, then just milk but in the Winter or when poorly Indian Chai is the way to go which includes whole milk, sugar, cardamom, fennel seeds, and ginger. Warms you right up |

"Green tea ideally.
But if a normal brew then it’s Yorkshire tea, strong, take the tea bag out before you put a tiny drop of milk in it.
I bet you’d rather just make the green tea?"
Totally agree about it being a nice strong Yorkshire tea. Haven't really tried green tea, maybe we should give it a go! |

I do recommend it, don’t leave the bag in too long otherwise it tastes bitter. You feel like you’re giving your insides a healthy treat |

"I like mine with a kiss, Dennis than runs the café was not happy.
Dennis is such a spoil sport"
I know, it's not like I wanted a cream horn to go with it. |
