A box at end of your bed |
Do you get enough sleep at nights or are you for whatever reason just managing to scratch by on the minimum amount.
Apparantly an average adult needs 7.5 hours of sleep a night some get by on as little as 6 hours while others need as much as 9 hours.
I myself tend to get around 6 hours sometimes a little less depending on what shift I am on at work, it would seem I am selling myself short on sleeping time. Maybe I should cut down on the late night movies and get to bed earlier. |

I get around 5 hours of sleep a night sometimes more depending on what time I go to bed but it’s usually 5 and I rarely sleep through without waking up.
I should really go to bed a lot earlier than I do but I have kids so night time is the only time it’s really peaceful |

Mine is totally knackered by working 4 or 5 Nightshifts a week. I'll be heading back to sleep for a few hours this evening before stagging back on at midnight |

I survive on around 6-7hrs of sleep (approx 2hrs in day when I get the chance, the remaining hrs at night), anymore than that and I feel groggy. I'm up around 5am every morning, even when not doing shifts - my body clock's all over the place. Which isn't bad as I'm a sort of chaotically-organised person and sleep adhoc many a time |

30 years of working shifts and anti-social hours had meant I could fall asleep very quickly and sleep solidly day or night.
Then menopause struck and now my sleep is awful. I can do 3hrs and feel fine, do 10 hrs and feel awful. |

We go to sleep around 1:30 to 2 am and get up around 9am. After years of getting up at the crack of dawn we enjoy keeping hours that suit us now.
The only time we get up early bid if we have a plane to catch |

I've noticed lately it's not how much sleep a night I get, it's consecutive hours that help ..
Last night I got roughly 7 hours sleep without waking up and feel great ..
If I'd got 8 hours but woke up twice in the night I feel like shit |

I work permanent night shifts and my sleep patterns are shot to pieces.
Today being a perfect example. I’m in the middle of a four nighter. Last night had a very busy shift. I should be in bed now getting some sleep but my brain is so over stimulated that instead I’m on the forums |

My sleep patterns have gone to hell the last year I'm lucky if I get a total of 5 hours sleep in a night.Even on nights I do it's rare it's ever unbroken sleep, the most I sleep solid is an hour or two at a time. |

Lately been only getting 5 and a half hours on a weekday as I go gym early before work but seem to overcompensate on the weekend by sleeping 10 or more hours. I need to just get to bed earlier to be honest as I feel absolutely shattered towards the end of the week |

Sounds like lots of people not get there recommended amount of sleep whatever the reasons.
Makes you wonder how many people are possible nodding off even just for a split second behind the wheel of a vehicle, its quite a worrying though. |

I've survived on an average of 3½ hrs a night for the last 30 years. Sometimes slightly more but not by much.
I can fall asleep immediately but never stay that way and wake at least a dozen times every single night.
I'm up every day including weekends and holidays at 5.30am and if I attempt to lie on passed that I have a blinding headache the rest of the day.

My sleep pattern is so erratic I couldn't say what it is.
Last night I think I fell asleep just after midnight, woke at 6.30 am for a wee, fell back to sleep and woke again at around 11am.
I'm still tired
Tonight I could be asleep by 11pm, go for a wee at 4am then get up at 7am, full of beans.

Unless I've been really active during the day, my sleep pattern is awful. Rarely sleep through the night. Last night I was awake 4 times, but I'd had a 2 hour nap in the afternoon.
I saw something about delayed sleep phase the other day, I'm a bit like that, not tired until late, don't wake up until late. |

Feeling this deeply. I have a two year old. She has a lot more energy than I do. Once she's finally settled, I have a choice: go to bed early and maybe feel a bit more like a functional human in the morning or wind down with an hour or two of TV or Xbox and emerge the next day a hollow shell of a man.
It's option two every time, naturally... |

I probably get 6 or 7 weeknights but ideally need more. Weekends all being well I can sleep for 12 hrs straight so that tells me I should get more in the week but dont always manage it. I am a proper hibernating bear and love sleep. |

I get exactly the same - my first night is Mondays so I'm getting my head down in a minute for a couple of hours. Probably sleep better because we've had a shag marathon this lunchtime |

About 5-6 hours a night, it’s partly the area I’m in, there’s a mechanics over the road who get loud first thing and at the weekends the pubs open so early sleep habits were ended for me
It’s a little torturous tbh |
