I couldn’t put numbers to it. Physically if I’m your type then it would be high. I’m too curvy for some & too little for others. Facially I don’t make people retch, but no-ones jaw has ever dropped upon meeting me. So like wise it’s personal taste.
Personality I’m going to scare better. I think I’m hilarious, easy to get on with & fairly intelligent. But that can be a matter of taste too. What is universal & undeniable is that I’m unendingly kind & hard working. I’ll give my last breath to help you if I can (unless you’re an absolute asshole). So for that alone I will give myself good marks

Physically, doing alright for an old bird, until you look at the joint x-rays. Personality is like marmite, but thankfully I don't need to be liked by everyone.
I don't assign numbers to anyone, it's reductive, so many things play into how we (or others) perceive ourselves. If you're content, great, if not, work on what you can change and accepting what you can't or won't. |

Though I'm the same as the rest. I don't think I'm all that. There is a lot of fake it til you make it, and even then I'm semi serious with all the self deprecation I do.
Often People's views of themselves are not so much based upon their own opinions but years of experience from what others have made them feel. |

I think the main thing to bear in mind here is that it’s a public forum. Human nature predetermines (most of) us will be cautious and modest until we know what other people think. Even if that’s on an un conscious level.
I’d say there probably a greater number of people on fab than most other cross sections of society with at least average self esteem. And yet many here are grading themselves at a lower number than most would ascribe.
I expect most people here will have given a modest grade knowing others are looking on.
As someone above said, that will also have been affected by a lifetime’s experience of ‘leagues’ ie where we see ourselves in society.
And self esteem will play its part, too. Some on fab are great people and widely regarded as very attractive, yet a low self esteem may render them unable to recognise or promote that.
There are, of course, those who just don’t give a flying fuck what anyone thinks!!! And good on them. |
