£900 on lottery
My ex mate on flight back from Australia stopped over in Dubai and bought a raffle ticket to win a bmw650 when they were 1st released god knows how many years ago and won !!
Except he couldn’t afford to have it transported and imported to uk and it didn’t have an alternative cash prize lololol
Shit luck that oh and to top off his trip to Australia he got stopped by customs on way through Heathrow and had all his fags ceased!

Fun fact - my mum said that years ago my dad was working closely alongside a company where you could win a brand new car, if the key you 'found' fitted. Apparently a manager had given him one of the keys, and was fuming that the prize was never collected. She did say he'd been strongly encouraged to use it... Life is rarely a level playing field |

Going back to the 1950's, my paternal grandparents won the jackpot on the football pools
It would have made them very rich at the time, had my Grandmother put the coupon on
Turned out, she never had
She just used to use the money Grandad gave her to 'put the pools on' to buy groceries and had been doing so for years  |

I won £500 on the work lottery a month after joining. The next day my fabulous girlfriend broke up with me. The day after that someone tried to break into my car and caused £350 of damage.
That was a tough win to enjoy!! |

A week in Bali for the whole family, 5* hotels, private guides, flights, the lot.
My ex refused to go because it was too far and he didn't fancy it - and wouldn't let me and the kids go without him either!

£16,000 on the Littlewoods Pools years ago with a works syndicate. We received about £500 each. I was a on a YTS at the time and earn’t £27.50 a week so it was almost half a years money! I walked around like a king
