Ahhhh call me a purist, but I have a soft spot for the original Constitution Class exemplified by the NCC1701 Enterprise.

Otherwise, I love the sleek style of the Intrepid Class.

Exactly, the one and only original NCC 1701.

Saying that, I like the Neo-Constitution USS Titan from Star Trek Picard.

Favourite for me is rebuilt constitution class as seen from the films 1 to 6

NCC 1701 & NCC 1701A.

Also quite liked NCC 1701E (can't remember the class name though)

A ship that can split in three? That’s total class!! For me it’s the USS Enterprise NCC1701E the sovereign class just looks soooo sleek and cool.

Not sure about NCC1701F looks a little chunky.

Isn’t Picard amazing???

I binge watched all four episodes of current Series 3 back-to-back last weekend...

... and now I've got withdrawal symptoms... Nothing to watch until next episode out?

The first 2 seasons were questionable. Strayed a bit too far from familiar tropes. But not terrible.

Season 3, while not perfect and a bit cliché in certain story telling aspects, has a far more Star Trek feel than previous seasons. The familiarity of a federation bridge and ship etc.

A lot of people forget it was destroyed as it was in the series right to the end.

Also Voyager's intrepid class, Nebula, and Sovereign.

Though can't really argue with the simplicity of the Borg Cube and Sphere

Okay folks I like Star Trek and I have friends who call me a Trekkie but I don't consider myself one. Isn't a true Trekkie someone who attends conventions, dresses up in cosplay and collects Star Trek memorabilia?

Speaking of what's the difference between a Trekkie and a Trekker?

Anyway, I've always thought that the Klingon Bird of Prey has the coolest aesthetic.

I think you're a Trekkie if you identify as one.

Anyway, I'm a saddo who once went to a convention dressed as a Klingon (a male one, although now I think about it, I'd love to go as a female one - I've got the build and teeth ), so I'm a Trekkie.

I used to have the hair. Now, under my Davina wig, I'm more like General Chang from "ST: The Undiscovered Country"

The Breen destroyed the original Defiant, then Sisko was given a second ship - USS Sao Paulo- that he renamed Defiant.

Also cosplayed as a Klingon, conventions in Glasgow, Manchester and Bournmouth. Great weekends, all the guests were great and joined in at the bar late evenings.

Not a hardcore Trekkie but I have enjoyed watching here and there. I prefer Voyager and DS9 but that was what was on TV growing up.

I recently binged TNG and loved it, didn't really enjoy the modern films.

Sad fact is, humans being humans we're more likely to be like the Mirror Universe version of humanity than the ones that helped found the Federation.

Just look at human history, what we did with indigenous people like the Native Americans, Aztecs or Aborigines when we encountered them. We (as I white Europeans) treated them as subspecies to be ruled over or exterminated.

I can see us being exactly the same when we encounter aliens the first time. Look at us now, we detect a UFO we shoot it down.
