I just had a phone call about someone important to me finally getting scheduled for a surgery they've been working towards for a whole decade now. It means it's a good job I didn't buy Slam Dunk tickets yet, but the absolute joy in his voice when he told me |

"Certain Somebody!
My dogs too.
Family. "
Oh you've even go so far as to capitalize the C and S? So cute.
Yes, dogs bring such joy don't they? A dear friend has the most beautiful daft dog, looking forward to a sleepover soon mainly for the dog (and them a close second). |

No. Me and whatever new pandemic is growing on it are very happy together. Accept it. |

"Today I walked through my new home town, a smile plastered across my face I'd just told my job coach, after a fleeting 2 week relationship, that I have a new job starting soon, a job that is already filling me with joy. I looked across the town to the hills of green and a bloom of happiness spread throughout me! Moving here, to a man who adores, supports and encourages me, to a place where escaping to the forest is just 5 minutes away, has made me one immensely happy girl
This weekend marks one year since we realised we belong together forever
This smile is staying!

"One of my customers telling me this morning that we've all been injected with tiny silicon chips with the Covid vaccination....the worrying thing is that he is a nurse."
Cool story. Can I control heating with it? |

That. That made me smile.
And someone very special...
And my dogs...
And my new batch of painting, especially the "what would Dolly do?" sign |

The simple things (like me). Walking out over the moors hearing the skylarks and lapwings. Seeing the unspoilt landscape bathed in sunshine. Being close to nature. |

Big smile today. My 4th outside walk of March. Topped off with my online shopping getting charged £0.38 for a £7.38 joint of topside beef... I'm gonna enjoy my Sunday roast!

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest |
A patient I saw this morning recovering from a knee replacement. He achieved his goal of being able to sit and drive his sports car again, else he would've sold it.
What machine are we talking about? A first gen Mazda MX-5 (1991) limited edition in original British racing green! Proper made my day |

Something makes me smile every day really.
But today
A really good meeting/workshop. In fact some comments have made me glow more than just smile.
Followed by coffee with a lovely person.
Then bought new lingerie.
Since getting home I’ve smiled at fab…. And now the smile is the horn |

Just lately it’s been fab in general.
About a month ago I was feeling invisible and unloved. I was very close to leaving but I’ve recently had some great banter in the lounge, with geezers and totties, and some lovely messages from some hot women.
I don’t mind admitting the corner of my mouth turned slightly upwards. |

I've not been feeling very smiley lately, but this thread has reminded me that I have...
I smiled a lot at the weekend when I caught up with old friends; I smiled a little last night in the gym when I hit a good clean (though gym smiles are always small); and I'm recently back from holiday, where I probably used up quite a lot of my smile quota for this year, so thank you, OP, for reminding me! |

Also short on smiles here, seems to be catching.
All out of smiles on the inside tbh.
Have had a few challenging years and seem to have run out of steam. Had it knocked out of me is more like it.
I always had this notion of being on track to bigger and better and 'just wait, one more day, one more week, one more.....'
But after this last month of shittery-fuckery, I am all out of faith that there is goodness out there.
I see glimpses. It's like a mirage though. Just beyond the fingertips. Just keeps slipping further into the distance.
So.
For my kids? I smile.
For me? Just one more deep breath... |

This week at work has been one of the hardest in ages. The next two weeks promise to be worse so I'm looking for small smiles where I can find them. Our kids have been brilliant recently in their kindness and school work. Some pretty spring flowers on our table. Nailed a one-legged chaturanga yesterday.

Being able to spend some one on one time with my mum. It's very rare it happens now as she's a carer but I managed to grab her away for a couple of hours over the past two days

Admit it. Admit you enjoy my breakdowns in the dressing gown. Even the mini chaotic breakdowns that I manage when I can’t even leave the house.
If I lost my dressing gown I’d lose my sparkle. |

In the last hour or so, I’ve had a run of fabs on my photos from girls with ‘beaver’ in their names. Scrolling down the page made me smile when I saw ‘beaver beaver beaver beaver …’ |

Always Bugs.
I've spent the past few minutes truly excelling myself in a message - I've giggled several times with my wit and light turn of phrase. |
