Honestly I don't think I have a single favourite. I don't think I have any I can narrow down to top 3. So this is not accurate but my favourites definitely include

1. LOTR trilogy (extended edition)

2. Jurassic Park

3. Empire records (it ain't winning any awards)

1= It's a Wonderful Life

1= Bad Boy Bubby

3 - Miller's Crossing

This is liable to change on a regular basis but the first 2 are nearly always in the top 3

1. Jaws, saw it around the age of 11 scared and thrilled me. It was the first time I was totally immersed in a film and its story.

2. Cinema Paradiso, a Girlfriend could speak fluent Italian, so dragged me along to see it. ‘I don’t like subtitles’ I cried. Around 2 hours later I started to realise that subtitles weren’t too bad at all. (It was a toss up between this film and Downfall).

3. Streets of Fire, A rock n roll fable. Hero comes home to rescue the girl, who’s been K*dnapped by the leader of a biker gang. 80’s music with a 50’s Americana look. It also has a young Diane Lane. It’s what it is, just told really well by a great director Walter Hill and a score by Ry Cooder.
