Has anyone every had this? Last few weeks im getting shooting pains through my thumb. Finger next to thumb keeps twitching as well and gets worse and more painful the day goes on. Just wondering if worth going to docs |

Carpal tunnel is usually the little finger and the two next that go numb or tingle and have no power until the tingling ceases. It’s usually eased by shaking the wrist as this massages the nerve in the wrist. I’ve had my wrists done and my elbows all successfully. |

Usually diagnosed with a couple of quick physical tests as well as your description of symptoms.
Steroid injection will give you a 50% chance of clearing it indefinitely and is a good first line of intervention. If it returns you can either try a second (odds drop to 30%) or have surgical decompression, which takes 10 mins in theatre  |
