And I work in a Day Nursery so will make sure each child has something to take home to their Mama's/carers. We planted sunflowers and made heart shaped biscuits, got done keyring left over from Xmas so will take the childrens pictures to pop in the frame.
And I know that this will be the only gift some of the Mums will get so I bought some little bags and I've bought face masks, hand moisturiser, camomile tea and chocolate to pop inside... I have a single Dad and he gets the same but without face mask but beard oil instead |

This is so thoughtful.
Always had something similar when our kids were in nursery. It's sad they don't continue to do the same throughout juniors. As you're right so many families don't have spare pennies and makes kids feel bad. This teaches them that a gift doesn't have to cost the earth. Just a little thought and creativity can be a beautiful gift. |

Thank you! I love doing stuff like this! I guess it compensates for not being able to buy presents for my Mum. And your right, life is tough for many people, I see first hand how tough it can be xx |

I am taking my children out for a meal we both enjoy. And a walk to our favourite place. I don't require them to spoil me, just have a nice quality time, laughter etc. cards suffice |

No, I'm lucky if I get a text from my boys, they are off living their own lives now.
I'm working Sunday, making sure my residents have a lovely day with their children, we have a coffee and cake day planned, I'd much rather be doing that and seeing my residents families with their loved ones because you never know if it might be their last, I wouldn't change it x |
