I have evidence of tinnitus...my hearing is totally shot years of industrial noise and spending many years as a guitar/backline tech screwed my hearing.
One example was we used to use a fine jigsaw blade to cut decorative veneer, the high pitch sound of the cut even with protection was horrific. We had a noise analysis guy come in to check DB Levels the moment I started to cut he stopped me it was around 110db ...totally unacceptable |

Waiting to go back to see the audiologist and neurologist with tinnitus, it's made me sensitive to noise around me and in a pub environment I can end up not being able to hear a conversation. So far no cure or quick fix |

I don’t know if it will ease or go completely, some peoples it does, some it doesn’t.
I do find always having some background noise available, for me it’s the wireless, seems to help deflect it from my attention.
If it’s quiet and all you can hear is the tinnitus, tends to drive me bonkers. |

I've had tinnitus for around seven years. It's quite loud tonight and is drowning out my tv. Some days I barely notice it. I've had all the tests and there is nothing that can be done. |
