"As the saying goes
No dude ever said she’d look way hotter with longer eye lashes
So…… why ?"
Because some dudes think they do.
Because some women think they do.
Because they can and want to have longer lashes.
Fox gets them done occasionally and she looks great with them.

Yer a bloke. You have no right to comment. Not rocket fuel science.
Does it really matter....
Will the world tilt of its axis if they do or not?
I'm surprised you did a thread like this Op being as we have only had international women's day a few days ago!??
I'll be charitable and say you had a brain fart... and so you don't say I'm being nasty I think you could have picked a more positive topic to talk about women. Naughty, naughty smack Botty! |

Sometimes I wear the bright red lipstick specifically because I know my partners like the aesthetic during a blowjob. But most times I wear it because I like the way I look with it |

How large was your survey and is the research peer reviewed, or is it like those posts you see quoting stats on Facey that end with the word FACT! (the exclamation mark is important as it gives it more cudos) which obviously means it's definitely true and not made up at all.

Also, I've heard men - even on here - say mascara is the most important item of makeup.
What does mascara do? Make your lashes look thicker, darker and longer.
Some men do like it.
And even if they don't, it's none of their business, it's not their face. |

Actually the men did.
Eyelash enhancement history is fascinating. Starting of with ye olde harlots and actresses. Then Marylin Monroe awed girls and women all over the world with her look. Bowie and Ziggy stardust were also big fans, people have been trying to achieve looks they like and to impress others for centuries.

You actually said your daughter takes the piss out of the eyelashes (and by extension women who wear them) and you go on about being upset over being belittled and somebody being a twat?

I know I said they're great but I've only worn them once . If you can get the eyeliner on straight they're fine. However I worried about what might be in the eyeliner to make it magnetic so I never used them again. |

This is what puts me off them too. I'm rubbish with the glue ones but I'm pretty good at eyeliner so I think I'd do better with the magnetic ones. Beef reckons it's probably very fine iron filings in the liner. |

The good thing is that you can apply the eyeliner quite broadly because the lashes cover it.

Took me ages to master it, but once I got it I do it without thinking now, all about making sure you cut them to size and letting the glue set a little before you put them on.

Ooooooooooh love a make up thread.
Ardell wispies are great, as are Lashify partial falsies - the latter stay on through all kinds. Trust me
I’m pretty expert with them now, and the ones above are great. Subtle enhancements, rather than “Good God, what are those crawling across your eyes?!”
They make me feel great, in the same way that a well fitting bra does. Or comfortable shoes. And yet no one seems to complain about those things… |

"Actually the men did.
Eyelash enhancement history is fascinating. Starting of with ye olde harlots and actresses. Then Marylin Monroe awed girls and women all over the world with her look. Bowie and Ziggy stardust were also big fans, people have been trying to achieve looks they like and to impress others for centuries.
I would but I can't get the bloody things on, I'm far too ham handed
Same. Seems too much of a faff to me. I just use a good mascara.
I have mine tinted and have been looking into liquid eyeliner but there's so many to choose from
I have naturally long black lashes. I know, I'm a cow
They are lovely swing x
And Jersey cows have amazing eyelashes since we are on the bovine chat. As yes you did bring it up "

"Ooooooooooh love a make up thread.
Ardell wispies are great, as are Lashify partial falsies - the latter stay on through all kinds. Trust me
"
Love Ardell wispies. I use the 3/4 length, they’re so much easier to apply |

"I've got magnetic false lashes. They're great unless you air kiss someone who is also wearing them
How do you find them?! I can’t get them to work on me!
Yes I'd hazard a guess at that. I've had some quite complicated surgery on my eyes so I don't like taking risks with them
Just done some online research, apparently it's iron oxide which is a common makeup ingredient. I might try them for a special occasion.
I've got six pairs! I might give them another go myself
Six pairs of eyes?
I suppose that's a bonus when you're a forum mod - you see all!
A"
you don't want to know where one pair are... |
