And God yes, they grow up so fast.

Happy Saturday Meli
This morning, I am clearing Dad's shed and doing tip runs and charity shop runs with things out of his house, so not the most pleasant of mornings
However, the sun is shining and the air is crisp and the afternoon shall be spent in the company of a good friend
Those are things to be thankful for

I was enjoying a very long lie in until being rudely awoken by the sound of loads of crows circling around outside. Like, Hitchcockian numbers of crows. Then a loud BANG as one of them flew straight into a window downstairs.
Looked out from an upstairs window just in time to see a hawk swoop down, grab the stunned crow from the deck with both claws, and fly off with it!
Nature, eh? Red in tooth and claw.
At least that’s scared the rest of the crows off. |
