Have you had them before?
Do you suffer from vivvid dreams or nightmares?
Are you a sleepwalker??
I had a horrible nightmare last night where I was getting beaten up, the only way I could get the attacker off me was to bite them HARD, then I was awoken by the horrific screams of Mr P whilst he tried to prize me off his arm yup I full on clamped onto his arm in my sleep, broke the skin and everything, im absolutely mortified and wouldn't go back to sleep for fear of it happening again. Nothing like that has ever happened before but I just can't get it out of my head. Has anything similar happened to you? |

Yes.
Many years ago, I had a (in politeness) a not so friendly partner. I still sometimes get nightmares and wake up thinking the things are happening to me again. Sweating/crying/hyperventilating. I have triggers now, where I know what will likely cause one so I tend to hug T a bit closer on them nights.

I've had night terrors aplenty, especially as a child/teen. I remember them to this day, they were so REAL. I'd end up downstairs, 3,4 o'clock in the morning just pacing or bursting into siblings room utterly terrified then back to bed. It's our dreams really trying their hardest to get a msg across. Working out the msg is the tricky bit! |

PTSD is a bitch
Have you tried EMDR? "
Yes ... two lots. Certainly helped. Thankfully on the up now but it was a hell of a year |

I never used to dream at all, or if I did, I rarely remembered them. For the past few years I dream all the time. Mostly random bollocks abut every now and then one will have some scary meaning to me. |
