It’s Friday night and I’m going out for a curry tonight and quite frankly I am so excited!
Got me thinking though…. Do you have a go to curry order? Do you like the same dishes and stick with them or try new ones? Hot or Mild? What about sides and starters? Which chutney is your fav?
I want to hear all about your curry preferences! |

Phwoaaaaaarrrrr I love a curry.
I love all of those sundries - poppadoms, bhajis, samosas, chicken tikka starter etc and I like to mix up the mains. I love to share too, but I haven’t met many who’ll share with me! People are weird about their curries
God I’m starving now!! |

If ordering it as for it Asian style it’ll deffo be tastier then normal as they will use a little more Asian spices to bring out the flavour

I'm basic. I like my curries mild to medium heat and creamy, so chicken tikka masala and butter chicken curry are my go-to.
Back home my mum used to cook Nyonya/Chinese style curry, which is closer to butter chicken and uses a lot of coconut milk.
As for what to go with them, long grain basmati rice, garlic naans, and lots of poppadums are perfect. |

Mmm trip down memory lane. My mum's chicken curry has coconut milk squeezed from garden fresh coconut... I love the waxy chunks of potatoes that's soaked up all the rich curry gravy.
My local Indian restaurant (10 mins walk) we don't even look at the menu. We order a beer and a Meat Thali each. Often we can't finish it and get a doggy bag home. |
