Just wondered if anyone on here does it, has done it before and, if so, can offer any pointers?
One of my customers suggested I would make a good 'sitter' as I am a fussy old sod and a 'clean Queen' to boot!!
Not looking to make bundles out of it, but would be a nice little extra income maybe...

House sitting is not the same as being a cleaner.
It may involve opening and closing curtains, taking the mail out of the letter box to avoid the flap from being jammed, water the plants, turn some lights on and off etc., in order to make the property look live in and not unoccupied.
I believe it is important to agree on the tasks to be performed for the given rate in advance to avoid mis-understandings on both parts.
For example, if it includes feeding the pets or spend time to cuddle them, then that should be extra.
Good luck!
