I live in a small block of flats, only 8 homes.

Yesterday I came home to find, outside my neighbour’s front door, a couple of things I’m guessing she’d sold on eBay and had put out for collection.

What was spooky was she had written “For Felix to collect”!! That can’t be a common name.

Do people ever say your fab handle in general conversation or messages and it makes you do a mental double take? Do you sometimes think they may know and are testing the waters?

As it happens ‘Felix’ turned up and collected the gear, so I know it wasn’t a hidden message to me!

My surname isn't that common so having an Uber driver with it was weird

I’ve also had messages from women on normal dating sites saying “Hey, you look fab!” and it does make me wonder if they know….

Yep. A pilot at work kept referring to me as Meli. I thought oh, maybe he's naturally come to that nickname. And then I thought oh fuck, he knows.

Yep. He knew.

Nope. I am for the most part a man of the shadows!

Which sounded more impressive and less creepy in my head.

I've had a few moments where I've been like but sometimes I think I'm reading too much into it. I've got my location set to a place I don't live because I think if I had it local I'd be easily found by people nearby.

But yes, I do love a cupcake with buttercream.

I do hear Granny a lot on the outside.

I really must change my name but i've been saying that for over a decade. Maybe in the 30's

That’s more than a bit cheeky, he’s risking outing you at work and that’s really unfair.

I assume he was on fab too? Did you talk to him about it?

We hear people say "you look like a nice couple" in that slightly patronising way they have of saying we look 'respectable'. If they only knew...

Oh I didn't mind.

No he came up to me when I was finishing. Asked if I fancied a drink, erm. Let's leave the story there and keep my sweet and innocent facade going.

Sheer delusion. With a touch of three hours sleep. What a combination hey Granny? People could do some serious damage with that kind of dangerous self belief.

There’s a woman I work with that always says “fab” a lot whenever I am in a teams meeting with her and others. and she always talks about beavers, daring me to grin. Once she said “there are some fab beavers out there” and I had to switch my camera off
