When ever there’s a music thread, is it just me or are most comments from Rock/Metal fans?

Does swinging lend itself to Rock Music ?

Maybe to do with the age demographics, in 25 years there might be threads about Grime or Drill.

Not all that North of North London

I think when there is a thread about live music or favourite album definitely theres definiteky a rock/alternative leaning because that's who gobto most gigs and are most obsessive about albums.

But generally, no. The threads about 'name a song' make it clear that like most things when it comes to music, fab is a broadchurch

No. I'd say roughly the same % of people who like rock/metal music in "normal" life is the same % for on Fab.

There are quite a lot. But they are far from being the majority.

But sure rock and swinging go hand in hand both being very hedonistic at a base level.

Think most people are into shite music and the people who post in those threads are more into music.

Most of my friends are into techno, and in particular, Detroit techno (it's one of the main reasons we're friends!).

I think most people who are into alternative lifestyles and recreational sex, have a tendency toward slightly left-field music, literature and film genres as well.

It also depends on the 'tribe' you belong to - I think the more 'swingery' types have a tendency to be more mainstream, whereas people who are more into poly/alt-relating have a tendency to live a bit more outside the lines.

I like everything from opera to pop to rock/metal.

Usually depends on what mood I'm in.

Good music is good music regardless who made it. And of course one persons fave is another persons ear nightmare.

Love rock, indie, metalp, but also partial to abit of 90s dance and maybe even some pop at times. Just love music and how it lifts the mood, creates memories etc We met at a music festival, so our mutual love of music and fun brought us together.

I've got a wide taste in music, but Hard Rock/Heavy Metal is one of my least favourite genres.

I'm not tied down to any one genre of music,I like everything from Motown to Bocelli, from Dance to Stormzy......I will often buy an album and pick out one or two tracks that totally do it for me and discard the rest.
