Reports all over the news that a recent poll shows that only 39% of Londoners have trust in the London Police Force. A drop of 4%. Will this be another stick to beat the police with and what can be done by the Chief of Police to reverse this?
Interestingly there is no poll to show how much faith Londoners have in politicians. Would it be higher or lower?

Coppers on the street have little choice but to do what they're ordered to do and many of them do their jobs efficiently and well. You don't get to hear about the good stuff though, just the newsworthy horrible stuff. Having said that, my father was a London police officer for all his working life, from the early 1960's. He told me that if the police were like they are now when he joined, he never would have joined. |

ive had nothing but good things to say about the police ... the police are a big part of my job and have daily interactions with them on a work basis ...
also i had personal dealing with 2 stalkers via the scene and the police were spot on very friendly very professional and things were sorted ..
however the stories we hear are not good sexism racism bullys and power crazed individuals lets hope they are all dealt with and kicked out and kept out but heres the thing there are bad apples in all walks of life and all jobs and professions and always will be ... |
