So my job pretty much does not allow me to work from home. I've not had the pleasure or experience of it.
So my question to you is, are you professional and prepare yourself for a work day as if you were in the office?
Do you sit in bed, whip the laptop out and get to it? Work that is, you dirty minded pervs.
Do you get up and showered, and wear some reasonable clothing choices?
Tell us, how your work from home day goes. |

We both work from home. Penny takes it very seriously, takes her lunch break exactly the same as she would at the office, sits in the kitchen with the laptop.
I regularly go to bed during my shift for a few hours, watch movies and series all shift and have been known to go do the weekly big shop or gym. |

I work from home, and have done for years now.
I love it. I get up in the morning, work out straight away, have breakfast, shower, get dressed and go sit in my home office doing my thing.
When I need a break I take it. When I need a coffee I make one. If the weather is nice I'll go for a long walk for lunch. If I get horny...
In the evening, when I clock out, I get into some comfy joggers, put my phone in personal mode, and relax for the day.
I will never work in an office again if I can help it. |

I've worked from home since covid now. Due to the type of work I do, I have to make sure I'm up, washed, ready as I would be on a normal work (from office) day. You can have pre-arranged meetings, but it's the spare of the moment ones that can catch you out and don't want to be on a 'Teams/Skype etc' video call when your still in bed or naked or worse . |

Working from home mostly although home does not mean home but could be a variety of locations including abroad.
Routine is pretty much the same bar for make-up free days when not customer facing.
I get more done in less time as I am not tired of the daily 4 hour commutes anymore. Win win. |

I have a separate work room (office also used as a study) with a home made sitting/standing desk. I work best there although very occasionally I'll work from the comfy sofa downstairs! I keep regular times as most of my team also work remotely and we need to be able to keep in touch. And the coffee is much better at home! |

I'm currently on a 3 hour teams call with my microphone muted, dog in my lap, and scrolling fab while they waffle about the parts that I'm not involved with.
If I have work to do I work hard, but these days I get ahead enough on my in office days to relax a little. |

I changed jobs about 5 months ago and I now work 2 days from home. Previously I'd always had to be on site.
Pros - the night before knowing you don't have to get up earlier to travel.
Extra time at night as no travelling home.
Joggies below and semi smart up top.
More time to browse fab for a perv.
Cons so far are it's a bit lonelier, you don't get the same banter as being in an office. Cabin fever at night, I split my 2 days because of this.
You need to be disciplined or you'd just spend all day browsing on here. I type this as I work from home. |
