Comics and films have always been my things. I used to love sitting and listening to the DVD commentaries and special features. That's the one area where streaming services are a but of a let down.

Bit of a lapsed gamer. I play my sons Switch but keep saying I'm going to get an RPG for it but never do!

I’m going to gig tomorrow night without having a clue who any of the artists are. So tonight I’m going to do a deep dive on Spotify and YouTube to get myself up to speed. And I’m so looking forward to that.

"Who are you seeing?"

A whole bunch of American country singers. There’s a big festival on this weekend and I’m going along to the launch party. Up close and acoustic before they play the big stages over the weekend.

I’m on book 11 of the Sentenced to War military sci-fi series and loving it.

I think Poker Face and The Last of Us are the best TV on right now.

Duskers is taking over my gaming time.

Currently watching Andor, The Mandalorian and The Last of Us.

Mostly playing Fortnite and Elden Ring, but dipped into Somerville for an MS Rewards quest the other day and I liked that a lot. I'll be revisiting it soon.

I always watch Newsnight have a reasonable collection of microblock builds (like lego but cheaper, smaller bricks and more pieces- average 3000 per build) and really enjoy board games but not like Monopoly, more so euro games such as Everdell and Terraforming Mars

The film Fall was good. Not if you hate heights though! Still playing Doom from 2016 multiplayer. Single player campaign is great.

I've just finished watching Wednesday 9n Netflix. It's so good!

I'm thoroughly enjoying Carnival Row on Amazon Prime. Which is a mixture of the Detecting from Ripper Street and the Alienist, and the creaturse from Narnia and the Witcher. I love it!

"I'm thoroughly enjoying Carnival Row on Amazon Prime."

I just can’t quite settle with Carnival Row. It’s crap but it’s great. At the same time. Cara Delivigne is brilliantly cast but she’s a rubbish actress. Orlando Bloom is putting in a great performance but has terrible lines. The whole thing is a pile of clichés on top of another pile of clichés, yet it’s just bloody interesting to watch it play out.

I like it, overall. But I couldn’t honestly recommend it to anyone else. Does that make any sense?
