Just had a nice polite message from a nice couple BUT the message was asking us to contact one of their friends who has been trying to message (since we blocked him) what would be your response in that situation? We've had a friend of ours ask us to do the same for him before, we said no

If the 'nice couple' aren't friends of yours, you have no intention of meeting them, then block them as well. I'd also report it, as your not allowed to use the forums to get around blocks. Would be the same kind of abuse to me..

No the couple aren't friends of ours and it was a pm, just wondering if this is quite common as like I say we've had a guy ask us to do the same before but we declined, whatever the reason for the block surely is reason enough?

Can't say it's common, but it's not un-common ... unfortunately. At least you don't have your friends list on display, otherwise you might find it happening more often.

I'd block and report anyone making the same request without answering.

yup the old, you are friends with so and so, they've blocked me but could you...

No I do not get involved.

I do not pass messages.

I wouldn't want someone pm'ing me and questionning my decision to block someone so wouldn't do it either.

I missed the playground rules during sign up

Ditto! Why you choose to block someone is your business - no-one else's!!

Thats why we don't show our vert's and friends list have been contacted by people asking about couples on them in the past! We just blocked them and told the people they had been asking about them.

I wouldn't consider doing it under any circumstances; if this couple want to contact them, they will have to do it themselves, thing is that you have no idea whether the couple want to abuse this guy or not, so best to keep out of it

I've done it twice, in PM.... Because the rules dont allow forum threads and on both occasions I had been blocked by mistake and the block was immediately lifted....

Never say never.....
