Primark stockings, you know the ones. The majority of stocking wearers on here know them. I have pics on our profile with them on. The 80 denier hold ups. Primark seem to of stopped selling them. Where can I buy the next best? Marks ones roll down . Advice please, thank you.

If you make a trip into London, you can probably get them in the Oxford Street branch. The lingerie section alone is bigger than most town's Primark stores.

Have you tried Matalan? Asda George?

I know the ones you mean. They’re thick as anything but can be washed and washed - and they’re the only ones really hardy enough for swinging - should be re-branded ‘swinging stockings’

I’ve honestly no idea why they stopped doing them - I used to work at the Preston branch and we sold absolutely loads of them. Fortunately I still have a couple of pairs that are still in decent shape - but as others have said - very few other brands actually stay up. X

Yes, you get me! Some of my pairs are older than some of the cubs on here . I used to bulk buy, but am down to my last pair.

Not stockings - but picked up good hold ups from superdrug last week, fit a treat & don't slip down even with boots on

I can message you a link to some that I buy every month from that popular online auction site. They're amazing, thick but not too thick, don't roll down, don't go bobby etc x

Tesco done some really good hold ups. Never had them slip down even after a good few hours of wearing them. They come in glossy 20 denier or 70 is you want opaque ones. They don't have a lace top, but they're really nice.

I will go on a mission in Cardiff at the weekend, see if they have any! Been looking for those and their fishnet hold ups... How disappointing!

If I find any, what size are you? I'll post them!

This is bad news, they were always my stockings of choice when doing a bank / security van job so would also be interested in suitable alternative retailers…

That would be amazing, thank you. I'm a large. Got me those thick thighs, even thou I've lost 2.5 stone.

Glasgow ish

Tescos have a nice set, but with a red lace top band that work well for me.

I have found loads of shops now carry no stockings at all, classic clip or hold ups.

Never really been a "tights" fan.

A little bit of hairspray on your thigh where the band sits can help with roll down issues
