I chat on here a little (single straight guy looking for attention)

I’d say about 75% of the people who look at my profile are gay men.

Even I know my blue underpants aren’t THAT cool!

I wouldn't necessarily say men like forums more. You just see more men because women/couples often get messaged privately instead of being replied to on the forum.

We all like to think that when someone looks at your profile, they are interested in you, but it may be nothing like that at all. They may just marvel at your lack of dress sense, or weirdly shaped private parts. A wink may indicate gentle humour, even solidarity and not be an attempt to solicit.

they really aren't

, but in answer to your question guys come into forums because they get to interact with women because messaging profiles is very sporadic, well thought out messages based on profile go unanswered or get deleted, then theirs the sexual messages that 9/10 get deleted, so come to forums and start thread after thread of sexual innuendo and get a modicum of success, hence the top heavy mens forum.
