My local pub is great in that I can generally go in anytime and know someone or at least speak to and have a laugh with the staff. I sometimes play on local pool team. ..
It does appear like it's a little rough from where it's at and some of the people who get in, but everyone's really friendly and will speak to anyone.
Tonight I popped in for a 'quiet' pint and they'd had a function on during the afternoon. Lots of loud people and kids (not locals). All the bar maid said was 'kids have to be out by 9pm' but this somehow came across as an insult to the party and they started going mad!... Long story short, people got barred n refused service and they smashed up a table outside as they left.
Won't stop me going back but spoilt a quiet pint
Anyone else love their local? |

Very true!

Just curious about other people's 'locals' and how they find them etc |
