I’m rocking a profile picture that’s as old s time itself , and I rarely update my photos, because in all honesty,….I’m the same as I was last year..and the year before. (Less weight maybe).
But how often do you think profiles should update them or even if they should?
Do you think we could do this Fab website at all without photos?  |

Our profile picture is a few years out of date but the rest of our pictures are regularly updated so I don't think it's too much of an issue  I think they should somewhat accurately represent what a person currently looks like.

This profile pic is for this year. It conveys exactly what I want to put across on here. I may add more lingerie pics if my Mojo finally makes a reappearance later on.

Av been on and off the site for about 14 years now and still have guys sending me the same pic they sent me 14 years ago, deffo should have up to date pics, its not hard nowadays to take a selfie |

Mine is a few years old, but I'm not looking to meet so it doesn't really matter, I just like the picture.
I don't think when a picture is uploaded is a good gauge on when it was taken though, you see so many people repeatedly deleting and re-uploading the same pictures. Goodness knows when they were actually taken. |

Brand new ! But we have tweaked the bio already, intend to keep it updated as much as possible
Some profiles could do with updating, viewed one yesterday after a wink, it was 10’years Out of date, description had them Down as mid 30s really was in bio mid 40s |

We've only been on fab about 18 months, but probably upload a new photo once a month on average. I also regularly change which picture is the profile pic. The current one is from last May as it's one of my favourites.
I prefer people to have recent pictures, but I don't mind if the profile picture is old, especially if it's a classic |

I like taking new pics, and have also gained some curves since we joined so feel it's fair to show that. I do have some favourite old pics which we'll keep around though, plus most of the older ones get shoved into friends only. So if you're wanting to be our pal hoping to see hardcore filth, unlucky, it's just a bunch of old pics!

I want to keep my photos more up-to-date than I do, but I *really* don't enjoy taking pictures of myself.
I haven't changed much below the neck – I weigh the same now as I did before the pandemic – but I appreciate how suspect it must look that none of my photos are more recent. |

My profile is 4 years old and I tend to upload a new photo every couple of weeks. Nowhere near as frequent as some people. Don't know how they can have photoshoots every day. |

Our pics have largely been taken at the time of posting. There are one or two #throwback pics of Max though which are about 20 years old but people generally struggle to identify which ones (a fitting testimony in itself to her fine form |

Your post made me go and check. My profile pic was from last summer and most of my others range from 2020 to a couple of weeks ago so don't think I'm doing too bad. There are some private and friends only ones from 2918 though so I may have to look at clearing some of them out.

Most of my pics have been taken in past 6 months. Few throwback pics of me in suits and cross dressing.
One really old pic, but it's very clear it's much younger version of me in my goth days.

My most recent public photo was uploaded the day it was taken, so probably early last month.

My pics are always fresh as I enjoy taking them every couple of days. It's one of my kinks, like a mild form of exhibitionism really.
I will sometimes find an older one that I still enjoy and will pop it back up but they get deleted and replaced very often. And by older, it's a year tops.
I've been disappointed by people using old pics from 5-10 years ago. A 'live' pic taken randomly in chat has given many away and led to a cheerio for lying. There's really nothing to be gained by using older pics, a meet will reveal all so just be honest from the get-go. People thinking "they'll get to know me first and the rest won't matter".... everything matters. It's the whole package, looks matter whether they ought to in your opinion or not.
Any dated as 5-10years old, whilst that is more honest obv as I can see they're older, if a person has been on here that long that's a turn off for me in itself. I'm not interested in a hardened swinger.

As for doing fab without pics, I think possibly yes. So many pics are dubious angles, lighting/manipulated/blurred they don't tell us *anything* anyway  I always do socials for these very reasons |

Our profile pic is a few days old.
The pictures we put up are a mix between recent and a couple of years old, we tend to re upload them when we’re more active, i.e looking to meet, planning on going to a social etc but then photos is one of our thing. It’s just having the time to get, good, new ones done x |

I’ve updated my pictures recently because the ‘current’ ones were about a year old. I don’t think to take pictures, it just never occurs to me. But I think it’s right to represent oneself accurately.
If you’re actively seeking connections then attraction is highly likely to be a requirement. I want people to be attracted to the me I am now and I don’t want for them to disappointed when we meet (I can manage that by other means!!).
Could I do fab without pictures? No. I’m a visual creature and I want to be attracted. That doesn’t mean I’m seeking perfect catwalk models, more that they are my type. No pictures would feel like a return to the good ole days of personal ads in the back of the paper with “professional executive with gsoh seeks fair maiden for days out and nights in” *shudders |

My profile photo is one of several I added when I joined the site it’s my favourite all time photo of me it’s probably about 10yrs old but it stays all my other photos were posted around the time they were taken ( I’m not one of those who recycles old photos like some do) |

I think women probably should update more often, boobs change size shape and things through the years. Kids change your body's.
Men on the other hand I think if there has been a drastic change then obviously could do with an update.

The dates my photos were added are the dates they were taken, so you can see I've gained/lost a good stone or so over time.
I'd not engage with someone who only had years old photos on their profile - what are they hiding? |

I think our most recent ones are end of last year, profile pic is probably about a year old. We just like the pic. Can't be arsed with taking new pics atm but we also aren't actively looking on here currently either.

Oh god, I try to take new pictures three or four times a week if I've got a spare 20 or so minutes.
I wouldn't meet someone who had no pictures within the last 6 months. |

My profile pic is current. Very current, but give me a few days and it'll be back to an old fave I should think.
In general, I'm not prolific at updating my pics (I look good enough in a pic to upload it about once every 6 months), but I still look like the guy even in my older pics, which I think is the important thing. |
