"Was on TV tonight, not seen it for years. My god it’s a great film, literally has everything. It feels like it’s really stood the test of time as well. "
We watched it a few weeks ago, I love the bit where he shoots the guy with the whip. Always makes me laugh |

"There is a new Indy film due out this year, I wonder how it will live up to that classic first film."
I've worked in UK film industry, and some people I know whom crewed on the new Indy gave me a rundown of the plot. I was told: "If you love Indiana Jones - brace yourself!"
Spoilers ahead, but this is the set-up for a female-led Disney+ spinoff. The story's time-travel element allows the path to be cleared and Indy completely erased from existence.
I thought they were joking when I was told, but over the past year or so, more and more of it has been confirmed.
It's enough to put me off seeing the new one - and I've always loved the series (even the last one...)
Still, it must be the year for it, as the same thing is happening with Superman in the new Flash film, where he magically gets written out of existence in favour of his female counterpart. |

Yeah defo funny, I read somewhere that the scene was supposed to be a proper fight but Harrison Ford was desperate for the loo so just took his gun out and shot him. The other guy played along with it and they kept the scene in the film. Totally different outcome from the script |

Wasn't that scene improvised because Harrison Ford had chronic diarrhoea. |

Yeah I think this and the original Die Hard films are timeless films and always enjoyable to watch. |
