unfortunatly perception is reality, I have suffered from this over the years. my only way of dealing with it was to decide not to give a crap what people think and instead to try and concentrate on what I want. give it a go it may work |

If you want to feel better about yourself a good starting point is to stop making excuses and the ol' 'used' chestnut. As you were not promised anything else in return and you knew exactly what you were going to get, he didn't use you. Caslling it being 'used' will not help you in the long run.
You made a choice... doesn't matter how long you have been in the flat or whatever else... YOU made a choice.
You can either learn from the choices you make or continue to pretend you had somehow lost the power of free will.
