Being of the Moroccan sunrise gene myself, why do people hate gingers so much?
I love my hair colour but it seems to be a turn off for a lot of people  |

I never knew people did. Why on earth would they want to ? If i remember thier Gene gives them some great attributes that the rest of us lack ! Plus they are beautiful |

It is true, it seems to garner extreme responses! I’ve had someone speak to me on a tube train recently, purely to tell me he hates redheads. Which was wholly mystifying, since I hadn’t even looked in his direction until he spoke to me! |

Where I have hair it’s red. I also have green eyes which is only present in 1-3 million people globally making it the second rarest combination.
But alas my hair has withered over the years. Why don’t people like redheads? Because they are jealous, fire within, fire without. |

The Mrs probably has similar genes to yourself being from Southern Europe, she shares the ginger colour and the community she’s from has a small amount with the same Hair colour
Very unusual in that region, I for one absolutely love it , it’s definitely different to the northern gingers , plenty will love the unique look you will have |

Very few actually hate redheads, the actual haters are a minority.
Most go about the friendly banter and joke about the "no souls" thing.
My family is full of redheads, and my sister in law. While most of the older generation have experienced the true bullying much less get it these days. My niece is 5 and has very red/ginger hair, all she gets is compliments from people about it. Never let her dye it etc.
Some of my biggest crushes are red heads, though the actual colour is not directly linked to the attraction, but it is certainly an enhancing bonus. |

I was talking right now to my husband and telling him one of the many things it happened to me… Back in time when I moved job from one city to another, I arrived the very 1st day and I had one of my same rank but more years of experience treating me like utter sht since the moment we met. When I say like sht, it’s in all senses. Years later she confessed me that I was because in her village people are superstitious and they say a ginger is bad luck. My face was like… wtaf mate? And you’re a grown up woman? Are we back in time and it’s the 1400 and I didn’t know it?
I’ve been mocked, bullied and envied my whole life… took me time to embrace my gingerness but I wouldn’t trade it for the world! |

I don’t get it! I mean I really, truly don’t get it in adults.
I totally understand kids using it to bully their peers and that just comes down to any difference in appearance, thin/fat/spotty/short/tall blah blah.
But adults should be well past that attitude and behaviour, surely? I mean, save from the morons who have never actually grown up.
My first proper girlfriend was a redhead and it’s been a thing for me ever since. It doesn’t mean I fancy all redheads, or fancy pretty ones because they’re redheads, it often just makes them stand out to me a little more than others (you know, normal people   ) |

I've always assumed that the whole "ginger" thing was just a comedy cliché. I know several red-headed people of both sexes, nove of them have any issues beyond a bit of friendly banter amongst friends.

Gingers are 10 a penny up here and many of them can live up to their colour and be quite firey. I have family members who belong to the superior clan as they call it and I have been of the receiving end of razor sharp tongues. |

Ginger is hot right now from a stylistic point of view... And its great to see!!
Natural red headed ladies are super hot and sexy.
I can't find the correct words right this minute, but natural gingers have a unique and deep sexiness.
And from experience, a theory that is still going strong, that all redhead heads are wild behind closed doors and always great in bed!!

I don’t hate gingers, I briefly had a ginger BF so briefly I can’t even remember his name, but he was lovely
But the BF I ever had was an Aussie called Ben. He came with me once at night to check on the horses in their field, when we got there he took his shoes and socks off and walked barefoot… thought that was a bit weird but hey ho |

I think this is more common in kids. I remember in school redheads were always being picked on, and kids could say some really shitty things. As an adult, it isn't something I have ever heard someone comment on negatively. I always hear good things actually.
I love red hair. And it wouldn't put me off someone if I fancied them. |
