Recently turned 33 & noticed small but noticeable changes;

* body cracks & creeks when i get up

* hangovers last an extra 8 hours

* eyesight has decreased about 30%

* little things have started getting on my nerves

* waking up hard seems like a distant memory, the little fella used to stand up tall & watch me shave now he's flopping about depressed staring at the floor

Tell me things get better lol

Aww early 30's are a strange time, difficult also to know where *you* fit in! Mine were very much so it's a transitional period - things will look up(!) again, believe me, just ride with it

Honestly if you're noticing changes like this at your age I'd ask your doctor to run a blood test, get things like thyroid function checked out.

Jeezo. I was in my prime at 33!

Do you run?

For a day or two after I've ran, I wake up hard in the morning.

Get that circulation going!

As for the hangovers, I don't get involved in rounds of drinks with the lads.

I was once told that somewhere around 45 your check engine light comes on and never goes off again.

Can absolutely confirm true.

Same yes!

I read somewhere 'Welcome to your 40's if you dont already have a mystery illness one will be assigned to you shortly'

I even have the check engine light in my actual car too. Doomed everywhere.

It's all about the blood flow , don't do anything that will affect that...eg drink or smoke.. and do what you can to aid it..watch what you eat etc ..some might find that kinda thing difficult but what do you want ?

"my word your a young man,, take up some active sports,, darts chess bowls"

That reminds me of a covid article in the news about, "David the Glasgow bus driver", who died when he was only 33.

He looked like a 70 year old.

I took up a regular resistance training-at-home routine at the start of the first lockdown and have never felt better. I’m in better shape now than when I was in my 20s, and have tons more energy.

And I have a decade on you. It’s never too late to get your body in better shape
