…you wrote a proper letter? And I don’t mean an email or a postcard or a typed letter. I mean an actual proper old-fashioned handwritten letter?
Was it to a friend, lover, family member?
I work with a young lad who literally didn’t know where a stamp went on an envelope!

I don't remember the last letter I wrote.
I do keep a little notebook though. I fill it with things that I think will make the partner it's intended for smile, thoughts of them or things I see and think of them immediately. I think they'll like it as a gift when it's full |

That’s one of the nicest things I’ve ever heard! I love that idea and I’d be so unbelievably chuffed if someone did that for me.

Just before Christmas to a much loved friend.
I much prefer handwriting,
A letter over text
A physical notebook over an electronic one.
I even love the charm of writing a note in the sand with a big stick.
I have a tiny bit of romance in my soul |

Jesus is that programme still going?! Surely Anne Robinson is in a home by now…"
Goodbye.

Ha! I feel like this will come across as horrible, but the mischief maker in me wants to know that was the last word she heard before shuffling off |

Few months ago to one of my best friends who lives in Madrid, she’s the only person I know that nowadays still writing letters by hand and with a fountain pen! And I absolutely love it! |

Ah Misty, that’s lovely! I wish I had it in me to do that. All I think of now is to text someone, not even call.
Has anyone found their handwriting has degenerated? Mine wasn’t good to start with (because I’m a boy) but it’s shocking now. I never write anything anymore! |

"I write to my elderly aunty a few times a year. She is on fb but she responds quicker by post! "
Haha - our senior family members tend not to embrace the interpipe and all its demons!! But I bet she relishes receiving handwritten letters from her favourite niece anyway |
