"To me it’s a drink or coffee. Just simple and relaxed.
Starbucks or Costa?"
Has to be Costa. Starbucks coffee is too weak. Like my coffe like my men. Strong, sweet, and available. |

Walking.
Like, a stroll or a nature walk or wandering around a city. Something like that, something with movement, probably with coffee because I like to stay on brand.
But yeah. I just find people talk easier when they walk together, as opposed to being sat still opposite each other.

Ideal? Pottering around some local independent bookstores. Couple of drinks after.
Or going to an interactive exhibition followed by a jazz night.
Cocktail classes are a lot of fun but maybe best suited to more a date vibe.
Or foraging for wild garlic/elderflower with a walk in the woods. Something to do, talk about.
I don't mind coffee socials/first dates but I like... doing things. I get nervous energy and it's a good thing to pour it into. |

Great ideas. Shared experiences are definitely a great way to generate conversations and get a vibe as to what the person you're with is like. |

I can relate to that and wonder if that is because we are not directly facing each other when walking - it tends to facilitates the initial process of getting to know the unknown person I think. |

I always opt for a no obligation social as a first meet, in a place of the woman’s choosing because I want her to be comfortable.
Chat in a bar/ coffee shop. One time we went for a walk which turned into a passionate snog.
Another time, one lady changed the venue to her house at short notice. I was hardly through the door before she was all over me. What’s a chap to do?…. |

Nearer than you think |
"What would your ideal social be , not talking about ending in sex ,but first meet what would you like ? Drink or coffee, maybe crazy golf or theme park for a laugh "
A walk with the option of coffee; something that is casual and not time dependent. If the meet is awful, it's easy to exit after a respectable time. |

"Lego shop. That way even if they are a bore I get something out of it! "
This is in fact the perfect answer. You can tell a lot about a person from their pick a brick selection! |

I had a social in a Lego shop once. When we got there it was very busy and couldn’t get in. We were queuing for blocks "
Lego shop is where you find all the studs! |

"Crazy golf, chips and a walk on the beach. The person who suggests that to me has just found their way into my knickers
Can we add in 10 pin bowling?
I have to warn you, I play to win "
That’s the only way to play! |

Crazy golf and chips, now that’s perfect. Quick trip round the arcades in a frankly valiant effort to win a cuddly toy and that sounds perfect
Perfect first meet. - no pressure, no expectations, full of laughter, genuinely interesting, and left wanting to do it again and comfortable around one another. |
