I agree. He seems harmless and quite endearing. He might not be an intellectual heavyweight but he doesn't appear to lack emotional intelligence |

No he doesn't. After watching him trying to come to terms with the grief he feels over the death of his mum I would say that he's working hard on emotional intelligence. It's interesting that so little value is placed on that |

Exactly. People seem to ne revelling in this thread that they are more intelligent then him, someone has called him a cunt and I can't recall ever reading an article suggesting he's anything but kind and vulnerable, he seems like a puppy wanting love and without a bad bone in his body. It feels like the negativity directed at him (not just here) is projection and/or bullying. |

I’ve always felt the playing daft is just a persona he puts on. One that has done very well for him because it endears him to most people.
That being said, I suspect he’s a nice guy as well. |

He openly admits he has learning difficulties and dyslexia made worse by the suicide of his mum who he was very close to as a child when he was 13.
He may come across as a dick to a lot of people, but look at what his achieved at his age, what his worth money wise and how much he actually gives back to others, including full profits to a Child Bereavement Charity and his doing a damn sight better and more for others than a lot of us are doing. |

He claimed he couldn't blow his nose properly, because he was never taught how to. He's either lying, playing a character or really is stupid. You don't need a PhD to blow your nose. Interestingly he had the "bin man's hanky" technique down off pat.

I saw him on that SAS Who dares wins show, and he came across as quite a decent and capable sort of chap. He may not be the sharpest chisel in the toolbox, but luckily, he's pretty.
