Symphony of Sorrowful Songs by Henryk Golecki. It is a very emotive piece.

City of Brotherly Love by Neil Young. It’s the featured song at the end of the film Philadelphia and captures the mood so well. I turn into a massive crybaby every time!

That was nearly not recorded, Bill Anderson who wrote it thought it was too controversial and too long to be recorded but Brad and Allison made it a huge success

This one.

All the way through till the 9 minute mark, it’s a story, it’s a battle with oneself, it’s the argument we all have and then, it lifts up, as he accepts that there are two sides to himself. When he stands up and breaks into a sweet, beautiful vocal, I just tear up a bit and think “that’s right mate, you can do it”

And the lines “I go by many names also, some people know me as “hope”, some people know me as the voice that you hear when you loosen the noose on the rope”

It didn't get a lot of airplay, which I think is because it's just such an overwhelming song. It's so brutally from the heart.

Also 'i wasn't expecting that', it's the sad bit from Up in song form.

I have a copy of one of Scott Hutchison's tattoos on my arm and adore his music so the song hits me because it's about Scott. But obviously, it resonates with everything thst I went through last year too. It was very cathartic singing my heart out to it!

I still find Adele’s Hometown glory such a powerful piece of music.

It’s the intro with that haunting piano that overwhelms me whenever I hear it.

Sometimes I’ll play it just to see if it still moves me, kinda like making sure I’m still alive.
