Is it me, or does sex peak in your 40s? I know there’s an argument that suggests being any age it can be good, but, sex in my 20s was all about experimenting etc.. 30s was quite meh… but 40s I’ve suddenly found the love of it - lasting longer than ever because it’s soooo good, positions have actual meaning, kissing is better and I’ve never encountered so much screaming. Im absolutely certain it’s much better in your 40s and with people who are the same age…

Maybe it's confirmation bias.
Maybe you're more comfortable with who you are, you've grown into yourself and your sexuality and that's reflecting on the quality of your sexual experiences.
Is there an age for that? I don't think so. Who knows, maybe in a decade I'll share your opinion. 
I have noticed as I get older I'm more confident in myself and the sex is a lot more enjoyable. Intense. I'm not afraid to experiment, to do things at my pace. My lovers seem to enjoy it a lot more as well. Still not convinced it's because I'm getting wrinklier. |

Yes. But that's purely down to being on here and having access to likeminded people. Finding compatability on vanilla dating sites never worked for me. Unsatisfactory incompatible sex over and over again can be soul destroying. Now there's a huge pool of compatability and I'm enjoying every moment of swimming in it  |

Definitely does. You're still relatively young, fit, know yourself really well, have begun really growing into yourself and (hopefully ) become more discerning. Quality encounters over quantity abound |

I don't know if it peaks, as I don't want it to start going downhill yet, but my 40's have definitely been THE best.
It's a mixture of self confidence, joining here, meeting the right people and not being afraid to be your true self, sexually. I spent years not living life as the 'real me', but now I am, and all with the full support of my husband. |

I’m more sensual than I was when I was younger. It’s a lot more meaningful to me now. The type of sex I crave for is still mood dependant, but it’s much more intense now.
My 40s certainly made me more aware. |

Yes, my fifties have been amazing so far!
