What’s on the menu lounge dwellers

I’m doing a roast chicken for tea so dinner is homemade mushroom soup.

Mushrooms, stick of celery, onion, clove of garlic, thyme, parsley, stock, salt and pepper, olive oil, butter

Large heavy based pan heat the oil and butter, add all the finely chopped mushrooms, celery, garlic and onion sauté until softened. Add the stock, herbs and season, simmer for 15 minutes, blitz with stick blender and serve with crusty bread

Odd question from lunch time

You’re microwaving Heinz tomato soup, how long do you stick it in for?

Guy at my work has just gone 5 minutes

Most soups say around the 5 minute depending on the power of microwave
