I mean, technically I COULD live without sex, it's not a critical life function like breathing. I wouldn't want to though, I enjoy it. And my smart watch thinks I'm doing quite a lot of steps when I have sex, so it helps me hit my daily step goal. |

Difficult for both mr and Mrs , 2-3 days and we get aggravated, let’s just say at the moment Mrs has new piercings in and she’s struggling

Agree with this, it can also destroy your self belief (at least it did mine) and I decided that hope was better than no hope so I walked. Have I had a plethora of sex since ,no but I've had some. So that's good |

Did it for nearly all my 30s with my ex hence why she's an ex. The frustration of hoping things would get better kills you especially that it never did.
Pretty much completed the porn hub sites so now they don't do anything for me.
Rediscovered my sex life thabks to modern dating and would never ever go back. |

I've gone for 10 years with no sexual contact at all so yes I could.
When I joined here 6 years ago I could easily have been like a kid in a sweet shop and taken every offer and opportunity but I didn't.
I've probably met 100 people in that time mostly through social events but only got naked with a handful of those while turning down twice as many offers as I've accepted.
I enjoy sex but I don't need it. |

Yep, I was solo sex only for years waiting on the separation and divorce as I'd not cheat or break vows, even on a hateful ex. But I had the knowledge that it was still available & all ahead of me to keep positive about and the solo sex I still class as sex.
If it wasn't a thing, if it didn't exist, or my libido flat-lined? I'd be alive and have friends and family and a life obv but there's no replacing the zing of epic sex or the intimacy of it.
I'm not in to ONS or NSA so it's not the functionality it's the whole package and the person you're connected to.
I guess it makes you less of an island in life perhaps. |
