So do you? Does your strategy change depending on if you just find them sexy but wouldn't go on date two or if you fancy the pants off them and can see yourself forming a relationship?
Date one for us was coffee and cake, no naked, no beast with two backs but we were instantly smitten.
Date two we were naked in minutes and stayed that way for the rest of the week.
We both admitted that if we had found each other sexually attractive but not long term material we would have fucked on date one and gone our separate ways. |

Actually did it before the date once. Had a one night stand many moons ago and I asked her out after texting back and forth. The date was a bit awkward though and we both decided not to see each other afterwards

If I was genuinely interested in a person long term, I wouldn't give it all away so soon. Sexual attraction can be misconstrued for other things so I'd want to explore their mind before their body. |

I don't go on many dates, but the few I have, I slept with them on the first date, aside from two dates that no attraction/connection was present.
With sexy meets, yeah I've always slept with them first time |

This got me thinking... In the 4 years that I have been single, I have only ever been on three 'dates' in the conventional IRL sense

well your example is more about an actual date and so yes I'd wait but if it were a sexual date then yes if all boxes are ticked why not have sex on that first date  |

I know you said dates so you must mean dates because if you didn't mean dates you wouldn't have said dates but you did so I guess you meant dates and not meets cos if you meant meets you would have said meets but you didn't say meets you said dates so I have to go with dates......

Nope, seriously nope even if I fancy the pants off them.
The reason? I want to be sure that that is what I really want, they are are somebody I can trust with a degree of intimacy and getting a bit closer to my core.
And this will take a little bit of time. I won't be rushed either. Ever. |

No I don't. Well, not any more.
And I'm really happy not doing so - I like getting to know someone. Plus, the more relaxed I am, the more I enjoy sex. I'm not really meeting people for sex any more. It happens and is fantastic but I'm meeting for friendship etc, sex isn't the driving force. |

I tend to talk and communicate an awful lot before I meet so I usually have made my mind up if I want to fuck before a physical meeting. However I appreciate that it’s very different for women as they need to feel safe and secure before taking that next step |

Ah I liked your post a lot! It's very close to how I feel.
I don't think sex is a sacred thing, ascribe to it hangups that still exist. But I enjoy taking my time, removing sex and not feeling pressure to do something when I need that base level connection to be sexually attacted to someone. |

‘Normal’ datey dates for dating dates. No. Absolutely not. Ever. There have been many where I was attracted enough to want to, but if I want that first date to turn into a relationship then it’s more about establishing a connection.
First dates for me are purely about seeing if I want a second date.
Fab meets - I don’t ever set out with that intention. But, because sex is so much more open on fab than IRL, it has happened. |
