They’re all inflation +4% aren’t they?
Robbing bastards the lot of them.
I’m waiting until AFTER the price increase then getting new deals elsewhere. I was tempted to leave BT in January on a better deal but then of course it would have gone up by 14% or 15% at the end of March, so I’ll wait until 1 April instead |

I'd never use Virgin or BT, I've worked in that industry and know all about the crap they pull with overloading capacity etc.
That said, my ISP isnt the cheapest, but they do givbe me 1gbps, will investigate if I think there is a problem and don't filter/block any sites - including thepiratebay etc, so are well worth the money.

"Anyone else had the email about the extortionate price increase?"
We find good broadband plus a ROKU stick in every TV in the house is a lot cheaper and more flexible than Virgin will ever be. They are losing customers by there thousands, so putting price up to try to accommodate that loss. |

It’s crazy , mine went up from 30 to 62 for internet only. After much negotiation I got them back to 30 but we fell out and I cancelled.
I took Three , SIM based connection no install , next day delivery £10 per month and I haven’t noticed it being any worse than VM tbh, I steam and use internet from2 devices, maybe if you have a family at home it won’t work though.
It may be time to abandon internet connections altogether till if you have good 4G , up your mobile data and get chrome cast enabled on everything |

They know they can do it , internet & telecom is one of the few sectors that’s 100% recession proof, war proof, pandemic proof. They grow when other sectors retract , they grew massively through COVID.
There’s no justification , their staff and infra costs haven’t risen anything like that |

Don't have sky, virgin or BT.
No broadband either.
Just my mobile data which is enough for what I do.
I have a movie app for the latest films and Freeview TV |

Some of the companies now have social tariffs _not due to having any social conscience - which can be worth looking at, in case you're eligible. I cut an elderly relative's telephone costs way down and the price is static now.
Ir is time to be loyal to ourselves and not these parasites. I'm in the process of moving |
