Screw seeing the Eiffel Tower or the Northern Lights. Forget swimming in the Great Barrier Reef or visiting Disneyland.
Do you have anything on your bucket list that may seem unspectacular to others but you really want to try?
I'd like to do a coffee tasting session |

Thames Water do a tour of Abbey Mills pumping station - definitely on English Heritage's Heritage Open Says (think that is Sept, gets booked). Cannot recall if that takes you in to the sewer. A friend did one with Thames Water which definitely did - she said do not look up as you climb the ladder (the person before you will have left shit on the rungs and it will drip on your face!) |

"I’d really love to chop down a massive tree"
Cut down 12 leylandii in 2007 and a large willow a few years later - no longer have a chain saw (that was enough destruction apparently) |

"I want to operate a digger"
Best holiday I ever had! Well not quite, but hired a digger to do work on the garden and had great fun (something like £250 for the week). Alternatively you can go to Diggerland (Kent, Durham, Castleford or Devon) for under £30. |

"I’d really love to chop down a massive tree
Ooooh nice, are we talking sharp axe or chainsaw?"
Before the fire service I was a lumberjack for 4 years so I’ve done both and have the scars! If you really want a cheap thrill climb to the top of the tree while someone else cuts it down - about 10 seconds of pure adrenaline |

I've seen the Eiffel Tower - it's not that good. |

Dunno whether it means I'm boring or if it means I've been successful in my life goals, but I can't think of a single thing to put on a bucket list. These days smaller things seem more important, like just sitting by a river on a warm afternoon and watching the ducks go by. |

Most sewers are, whatever the geography.
Besides, every once in a while I like to briefly swap the affluent with the effluent. But only briefly. |
