In two words ( black Cats )
For at least 350 years plus they has been a very dislike to them
It springs back to the days of king James he had a very much dislike to any Cat never mind black cats tho over the years folk think of black cats think of witches and paganism
Something go to be done The cat centre's up and down the UK
When they go in the centre it very hard to re home them
Folk think cos they are black they must evil it total shit is that
These cats like other cats need just as much as a loving home like any other cat
As I say gos back to the days of king James he killed his folk if had not killed that cats in London them the black death would not have happed in 1665
Something needs to be done
It cant carry on this shit about black cats
if you could do some home work on this look into it
bring this to light what is going on
if you could get the bbc to do doc on it
that would be good for the world of the black cats |

One of our cats is black, she’s an absolute beauty and total princess! The other is a British short hair silver and black stripes, he’s a nightmare haha |

I have a black cat. She is very timid and very loving.
The previous owners moved house and left her behind, I took her in as a foster, on Good Friday a few years ago. By Easter Monday, I knew she was home forever x |

I have two black cats and they're like any other colour cat. I've had various coloured cats in my 48 years and can promise anyone they are no different..... well except when you wake up to find one sat on your chest looking into your face  |

I thought this thread was going to be about Sunderland football club...
We have a cat, she sleeps a lot during the day, is addicted to dreamies and spends a lot of time on the bedroom window sill shouting at crows and pigeons outside. |

As a Sunderland supporter I love black cats! Our mascots are 'samson' and 'delilah'
I have to say as far as 'superstition' goes I've heard mixed opinions...
Some say if a black cat crosses your path, it's lucky!
Some say it's not!
